Gary Kitch's Moan of the Week

Why am I never mentioned in the weekly match reports. You know how it is I always put 100% into every game and am happy to go in at prop even though it isn’t my position but I do it for the club. Cut me and you will see I bleed green and gold. It is always the lads who have scored and played well so why aren’t I mentioned. Hang on a mow! I have just remembered I haven’t scored this season. Kate says I should be mentioned in the report and I know our Dad always reads it and is not happy that I’m never Man of The Match.

And another thing why didn’t anyone buy my Christmas fitness DVD as you can see it has worked for Aaron.

Welcome to Bristol Imperial RFC

Bristol Imperial RFC have a very long and distinguished history having celebrated their 100 year existance in 2005. The club has gone from strength to strength over the years but are now looking to boost their club membership since the inception of their partnership with South Bristol Sports/ Clifton Colleges, who themselves have provided Imperial with some of the best facilities in the Bristol area.

Pre-Season Training Has Started
Pre season training has got off to a great start with large numbers of both existing and new players. Our new coach Dean Payne is working the players hard but keeping the enthusiasm high, mixing fitness and handling skills to keep the sessions both interesting and fruitful. The goal is to have the fittest team in the league by the start of the season so although it is a good start there is still much to do.

New members
New members are more then welcome to join us on a Tuesday nights at 7 o’clock for what we are hoping to be an enjoyable and fruitful season for all the sides, with our 2nd team joining the Somerset leagues to give a more competitive edge to their season.

Thinking of joining Bristol Imperial RFC?

At present the club runs three senior rugby sides of all different abilitites but are now looking to the future by setting up a full junior section for all ages of boys and girls working all the way up to their senior sides. A full Rugby Development Plan has been put in place to provide all ages with proffesional coaching on a weekly basis and camps during school holidays and for those who want it will be entered in to teams in local leagues to compete against other like minded kids.

If you would like to join then contact Aaron Binns on 07968 788596 for more details or send a message >>
